Notes on reorganization of human memory as from machine memory behaviour
This is a phenomenon that could be further studied by the fields of neuroscience and medicine, but I found some similarities between the way human brain and computers process and store pieces of related information in nearby areas for loss and recovery of data(memories), which I won't further elaborate beyond this post because I think they can be better observed by those already mentioned fields of knowledge. The event that led to this observation was the recovery of a piece of memory related to being bilingual from childhood. Recalling a song I made a long ago brought back memories of an episode about learning a word in another language that occurred in a near time slot. I have noticed this pattern repeats for other less relevant episodes and happens for almost anyone in everyday activities. I formulated the hyphotesis that the temporay loss of memory occurred due to forgetting of the related song episode, as well as the recovery of them both, without the need of mapping informa
